Larus fuscus fuscus 4cy, February 26 2011, Ashdod, Israel. Picture Amir Ben Dov.
In general, worn plumage, and the upper tertial seems to missing, indicating that moult may still be an ongoing process in this bird. Exact moult stage in outer primaries difficult to interpret. P10 seems to have a a very abraded tip, and also shows a large white mirror. This should best appoly to an old worn P10, which is at least 3rd gen. Therefore this bird is probably older than 3cy, but still shows immature signs, as is sometimes visible sub-adult (4cy) birds.
