Larus fuscus fuscus 4+cy CAMM, July 10-16 2003, Tampere, Finland (61.33N 24.59E).

CAMM was ringed in Tampere, Finland (61,54N 23,98E); ringed as >2cy on August 11 2001. Hand when ringed: 420 mm.

2001: 9 records from 2001-08-11 until 2001-09-21,
2002: 23 records from
2002-05-05 until 2002-08-09,
2003: 23 records from 2003-05-24 until
2003-08-09.

Ringed as 2+cy at Tampere, Finland on August 11 2001, now in 4+cy.Adult fuscus with small size, slender bill, dark upper-parts which turn brown hued when older and worn, lack of moult in the scapulars, wing-coverts and the primaries and small white tips on the outer primaries, which wear away quickly. Note the small tips on the outer primaries and the lack of a mirror on P10 in this 4+cy bird. At least P10-P3 are old. Length of hand and jizz suggest female.
